What is Revanesse Versa?

Revanesse Versa is an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler designed with a cross-linked hyaluronic acid formula. This cross-linking allows for more flexibility so that the filler will move naturally with facial movements. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar compound that the body naturally produces. It binds to water molecules in the skin and keeps it moisturized, plump, and elastic. Clinical trials and rigorous quality testing have shown that hyaluronic acid can absorb up to 1,000x its weight in water!

“I've been getting Botox injections by Dana for a while now and I cannot say enough great things about her. From the moment I walked into her office, she put me at ease with her warm and friendly demeanor. Dana took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explained the process of the treatment I was receiving.”

Who is a Candidate for Revanesse Versa?

Revanesse Versa filler is a great choice for patients wanting lip augmentation or those who want to smooth moderate to severe wrinkles like nasolabial folds and marionette lines. This filler treatment is safe for most healthy adult men and women. However, patients should wait to receive treatment if they are currently pregnant or breastfeeding or have a current acne breakout or skin infection.

Revanesse Versa Treatment

Revanesse Versa injections are quick and minimally painful. Dana will first prepare the lips or treatment area with numbing cream and then place a few injections into various spots around the lips and/or mouth. The entire procedure takes 30 minutes or less and patients can return to their daily routine immediately after.

Recovery From Revanesse Versa

There is minimal downtime and recovery after Revanesse Versa treatment. Mild swelling, bruising, and discomfort around the injection site(s) are common but will subside within a few days. A cold compress and over-the-counter pain medication can be used to alleviate this discomfort. Three clinical trials with hundreds of patients showed no serious adverse events reported.

For the first 24-48 hours, patients should avoid strenuous exercise since it could cause the filler to shift. Stay hydrated, avoid direct heat from sun exposure and saunas, and wait to apply makeup for 1-2 days.

How Long Will Results Last After Revanesse Versa Treatment?

Patients can expect the results of Versa lip filler to last 8-12 months. The long-lasting effects of Revanesse Versa are possible because of this filler’s higher molecular weight compared to other fillers. Patients can expect natural-looking results that refresh rather than change their youthful appearance. As the plumping effects wear off, patients can schedule additional appointments to maintain their results.
