What is Diolaze?
Diolaze laser hair removal uses a diode laser to heat the root of the unwanted hair. This effectively destroys the follicle and prevents future growth in the treated areas. Unlike other cosmetic laser hair removal methods, it is good for all skin types, and four to six treatment sessions are usually necessary.

Diolaze is an excellent option for anyone who wants to reduce the appearance of unwanted hair on their body. It is most effective for those with light-to-medium dark skin and darker hair. Laser hair removal works by targeting the pigment in the hair follicles, so darker hair will be treated more effectively than lighter or gray hair.
If you’re struggling with hair growth on your arms, back, bikini area, chest, chin, stomach, or legs, Diolaze is likely the right treatment for you.
Diolaze Laser Hair Removal Treatment
While most patients tolerate Diolaze treatment well, we will have you wear a pair of protective eye shields. The Diolaze handpiece and a cooling gel will then be applied to the treatment area to prevent burning. Your provider will run through different settings to find the one that works best for you.
The length of your treatment session depends on the size of the treatment area and whether you’re having multiple areas treated.
Recovery From Diolaze Laser Hair Removal
After treatment, the area may be red and feel like a sunburn. You may also notice some swelling, but these side effects are temporary. Cool compresses and moisturizers can help with these effects. You’ll also want to regularly use sunscreen on the treatment area. Beyond that, you can return to your regular activities immediately after treatment.
Over the next month, you will notice the hair start to fall out on its own. After each session, you can rest assured that future hair growth will become continually thinner. To achieve your desired results, you may need multiple treatment sessions.
